知識點 1 What year is it? 今年是什么年？
這是中國常用的詢問“今年是什么年？”的句型，答語為“It is the year of + 屬相. ”
year /jɪə(r)/ n. 年；歲［四會］
例句：There are many festivals in a year.
一年中有很多節日。
短語：every year 每年 this year 今年
next year 明年 last year 去年
魔法記憶：爺爺年齡（year）大了，
耳朵（ear）不好使。
知識點 2 序數詞
序數詞表示事物的順序，如: first, second, third... 。平時常見的one, two, three ...叫作基數詞,用來表示事物的數量。
構成規律：
（1）1-3 的序數詞沒有規律，分別是first，second，third。
（2）4-12 的序數詞大多是由基數詞加后綴 th 構成，特殊的有 fifth， eighth， ninth， twelfth。
（3）整十的序數詞除了特殊的tenth，其他的都是先把基數詞詞尾的y 變為ie，再加th。
例如：twenty → twentieth，forty → fortieth
（4）表示幾十幾的序數詞，只需把個位數變序數詞即可。
例如：twenty-one→ twenty-first fifty-three → fifty-third
