1.On my way to the hall just now,I stopped by some of your classrooms and read the notes you left for one another.
◆on one’s way to… 意為“在某人去……的路上”,one’s需與主語保持人稱上的一致。如果地點是副詞,to應省略。該詞組常位于句首、句尾作狀語,或位于be動詞后作表語。
◆stop by意為“順路造訪,過去坐坐”。
◆leave在此為及物動詞,意為“留下”。
2.All of you have some great memories of this period of your life,and so do I!
◆period為名詞,意為“時期;一段時間;節;學時”。
◆so do I意為“我也是”,為倒裝句。其中so代替上文提到的情況,為“so
+be/情態動詞/助動詞+主語”結構,是表示肯定的倒裝句式。其中be動詞、助動詞或情態動詞在時態上與前句保持一致,在數上與其后的主語一致,指前者所述的情況同樣適用于后者。
【拓展】(1)當前面一句是否定句時,用“neither/nor+be動詞/助動詞/情態動詞+主語”表示“……也不……”。
(2)“so+主語+be動詞/助動詞/情態動詞”用來加強語氣,表示贊同,意為“的確如此”。

go by在本句中意為“(時間)過去;逝去”。

ahead of意為“(時間、空間)在……前面”。
5.Whatever you want to be,you need to work hard to achieve it.
◆whatever引導讓步狀語從句,相當于no matter what。
◆動詞不定式短語to achieve it在句中作目的狀語,說明努力學習的目的。動詞不定式短語作目的狀語時,可以放在句首,也可以放在句末。
◆achieve在此處為及物動詞，意為“做成;達成;獲得”。

at times意為“有時候”,與sometimes同義。
