1. 兩詞同義并可換用，但although語氣較重，通常放在句首并用于正式場合。如：

so that引導目的狀語從句, (目的狀語從句用以說明主句動作發生的目的。)
其從句中的謂語動詞通常和情態動詞can, may, will, might, would, could, should等情態動詞連用, 而且主句和從句之間不使用逗號。
so that意為“以便, 為了, 使能夠”，可以與in order that相替換。
e.g. 1.They got up early so that they could catch the early bus. 為了能趕上早班車, 他們早早就起床了。
2.Say slowly so that I can understand you. 說慢點, 好讓我聽明白。
3. We will come at eight so that the meeting can begin early. =
We will come at eight in order that the meeting can begin early.
so…that…引導結果狀語從句, 意為“如此 ……以至于……”, so后面加形容詞或副詞。
e.g. This book is so interesting that everyone wants to read it.
