（1）鳥巢（Bird’s Nest）：國家體育場是2008年北京奧運會的主體育場，由于造型獨特，被人們稱為“鳥巢”。奧運會期間在鳥巢舉辦了開閉幕式和田徑比賽、足球比賽決賽等項目。鳥巢形態如同孕育生命的“巢”，它更像是一個搖籃，寄托著人們對未來的希望。
（2）水立方（Water Cube）：國家游泳中心又稱“水立方”。位于北京奧林匹克公園內，是北京為2008 年夏季奧運會修建的主游泳館，也是2008 年北京奧運會標志性建筑物之一。
（3）頤和園（Summer Palace）：頤和園原為清代帝王的行宮御苑，位于北京市西郊，原名清漪園。頤和園始建于清乾隆十五年（1750 年）。咸豐十年（1860 年）被英法侵略軍焚毀。頤和園以杭州西湖為藍本，汲取江南園林的設計手法和意境建造而成。全園分為宮廷區和苑林區。宮廷區以仁壽殿為主要景點，苑林區以萬壽山、昆明湖為主要景點。
（4）北海公園（Beihai Park）：北海公園是中國古代皇家園林，位于北京城內景山西側。園內亭臺別致，游廊曲折。瓊華島上以白塔、永安寺和悅心殿等為主要景點。北海公園已被列為全國重點文物保護單位。
