一、There be 結構
There be結構表示“某地或某時有某人或某物”。
其特點主要有三個：
1.該句型的否定句形式是在be動詞的后面加not。
2.該句型的一般疑問句形式要將be動詞提到there之前。
肯定回答為：Yes, there + be 的適當形式
否定回答為：No，there + be的適當形式 + not.
3.該句型中be動詞人稱或數的變化與離它最近的名詞保持一致。如果有兩個或更多的名詞，be動詞要與它最靠近的名詞保持一致，即遵循“就近原則”。
二、問路及指路的表達方式
1.問路的句型
例: 郵局在哪兒？
Where is the post office?
打擾一下，你能告訴我去夏日旅館的路嗎？
Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to the Summer Hotel?
2.指路的句型
例: 它就在醫院對面/ 附近/ 旁邊。
It’s across from/near/next to the hospital.

3.表示方位的短語
on the left/right 在左/右邊
next to … 在……的旁邊，緊挨著……
in front of… 在……前面
behind 在……后面
