四 種 時 態 一 覽 表
一般過去時
表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態。
現在進行時
表示現在或現階段正在進行或發生的動作。
一般將來時
表示將來某個時間要發生的動作或存在的狀態。
現在完成時
表示過去發生或者未發生的事對現在造成的影響或結果。
語 序
賓語從句用陳述語序。如：
He is an honest boy. The teacher said.
→The teacher said (that) he was an honest boy.
Does he work hard？I wonder.
→I wonder if/whether he works hard.
When did he leave？I don’t know.
→I don’t know when he left.
時 態
①主句是現在的時態，從句的時態可根據實際情況而定。如：
I hear that she has written three letters to the headmaster.
Mr Green says that the snow was very heavy last month.
②主句是過去的某種時態，從句一定要用過去的某種時態。
We didn’t know why she had missed the flight.
He told me that he was watching a cartoon film at 10 o’clock this morning.
注意：如果賓語從句表述的是客觀真理、自然現象等時，不管主句是什么時態，
從句都要用一般現在時。如：
He said that light travels much faster than sound.
Language Points
used to do sth. 意思是“過去常常做某事”，表示過去經常做或一直做而現在不做，它只用于過去時態。結構：
1. used to的肯定句結構
主語＋used to＋動詞原形……
I used to go to the cinema, but I never have time now. 我過去經常去看電影，但現在沒有時間了。
2. used to 的否定句結構
A) 主語＋did not use to＋動詞原形…
used當做實義動詞來看，所以變否定句要用助動詞did；
B) 主語＋used not to＋動詞原形…
把used當做情態動詞，變否定句直接在used后面加not即可。
3. used to的一般疑問句結構
A) Did＋主語＋use to＋動詞原形…？
B) Used＋主語＋to＋動詞原形…？
美式英語通常用A形式，英式英語用B形式。
Did you use to go swimming in the river when you were young?
你小時候經常在河里游泳嗎？
Used he go to school by bike?
他過去騎車上學嗎？
4. used to用于省略句時，肯定式保留to，否定式不保留to。例如：
— 你過去常打籃球嗎？
— Used you play basketball?
— 是的，經常打。（不，不常打。）
— Yes, I used to. (No, I usedn’t.)
