一、形容詞和副詞的比較級和最高級
1.Mine flew farther than Jenny's airplane, but Brian's flew the farthest.我的紙飛機飛得比詹妮的遠，但是布萊恩的飛得最遠。
2. They also represent their countries at the highest level. 他們也代表他們國家的最高水平。

英語中大多數形容詞和副詞是可以分級的，一般有三個等級：________、________和________。
1．原級
(1)“as＋形容詞/副詞原級＋as”表示“前者和后者一樣……”。 例如：
John is as tall as his brother.
約翰和他哥哥一樣高。
(2)“not as/so＋形容詞/副詞原級＋as”用在否定句中，表示“前者不如后者……”。例如：
I can't run as/so fast as you.我不如你跑得快。
(3)“倍數＋as＋形容詞/副詞原級＋as”表示“前者是后者的幾倍”。例如：
This room is twice as big as that one.
這個房間是那個房間的兩倍大。
2．比較級(兩者)
(1)“A＋be＋形容詞的比較級＋than＋B.”表示“A比B更……”。例如： Jack is taller than Tom, but Tom is heavier than Jack.
杰克比湯姆高，但是湯姆比杰克重。
(2)“the＋比較級＋of the two”表示“兩者中較/更……的一個”，定冠詞the ________ (可以/不可以)省略。例如：
He is the stronger of the two boys.
他是兩個男孩中較強壯的那個。
(3)“比較級＋and＋比較級” 表示“越來越……”。例如：
Our city is becoming more and more beautiful.
我們的城市正變得越來越美麗。
(4)“The＋比較級…， the＋比較級…”表示“越……，越……”。例如：
The more, the better.多多益善。
(5)比較級的修飾詞： a little, a lot, much, far, even等。
(6)表示“A比B大多少”用“A＋be＋數詞＋名詞/倍數＋比較級＋than B．”。例如： My father is four years older than my uncle.
我父親比我叔叔大4歲。
Asia is three times larger than Europe.
亞洲比歐洲大3倍。
(7)在兩者之間選擇“哪一個更……”時，用句型 “Which/Who is＋比較級， …or…？”例如：
Which sweater is cheaper, the red one or the yellow one?
哪一件毛衣比較便宜，是紅色的還是黃色的？
