1. list n. 名單；清單

2. crazy adj. 發瘋的；荒唐的

be crazy about 酷愛；深愛；癡迷
eg: You’re crazy to go out in such stormy weather.

Danny is crazy about football.
丹尼對足球很癡迷。
3. shorts n. [用復數] 短褲
shorts只用作復數形式，直接作主語時，謂語動詞用復數形式。表示“一條短褲”要用“a pair of shorts”。
eg: She put on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt.
她穿上一條短褲和一件T恤衫。
4. weigh v. 重量有……；重……
weigh用作動詞表“稱……重量”時，后接表示物體的名詞或代詞作賓語。表示“有……重”時，可不接賓語，直接跟重量。
eg: She weighed the stone in her hand.
她用手掂了掂那塊石頭的重量。
5. total adj. 總的；全部的
total強調一切都計算在內，有強烈的計算意味，在句中只能作定語，不能作表語。total無比較級和最高級。
eg: The work was a total success. 工作取得了圓滿成功。
Her total income is seventy thousand yuan a year.
她一年的收入是七萬元。
【拓展】
total還用作名詞，表示“總數，總量，總額”，常用于短語“in total”，意思是“總計，總共”。
知識講解
1. Well, it sounds crazy but I don’t know what to take.
嗯，這聽起來瘋狂，但我不知道帶什么。
but在句中作連詞，連接兩個句子，表示“但是”，兩個句子之間是轉折的關系。
Tom is smart, but he doesn’t like reading.
湯姆很聰明，但他不愛閱讀。

and, or用作連詞，也可以連接兩個句子，and意為“和”，兩個句子是并列關系; or意為“或者”，句子是選擇關系（多含選其一的含義）。
并列復合句
1. 并列復合句的定義：由并列連詞and, but, or等把兩個或兩個以上的簡單句連在一起而構成的句子。
Jane has kept the book for three days and she must return it tomorrow.
The boy fell off the bike, but he didn’t hurt.
2. 并列復合句的構成：
并列復合句的基本結構是：簡單句+并列連詞+簡單句
I help him and he helps me.
You must put on your coat, or you’ll have a bad cold in such a cold day.
2. I’m leaving at the end of July and I’m going to stay there for four weeks.
我將在7月底走，要在那里待4周。
at the end of 意為“在……的最后；在……的盡頭”，指時間或位置，后接表示時間或地點的名詞。
There’s a bank at the end of the street.
在街的盡頭，有一家銀行。
3. Is 200 dollars enough? 二百美元夠嗎?
enough作形容詞，意為“足夠的；充足的”，在句中作表語，也可修飾名詞，可以放在名詞前面，也可以放在名詞后面。
Many people in Africa still don’t have enough food now.
非洲的許多人現在仍沒有足夠的食物。
【拓展】enough可作副詞，修飾動詞、形容詞或副詞，但要放在動詞、形容詞或副詞后面。
My mother is careful enough to look after your baby well.
我母親足夠細心可以照顧好你的孩子。
4. You’d better ask the travel company about the total weight for all your bags.
你最好問問旅行社關于行李總重量的事。
had better 意為“最好”，?？s略為 ’d better，后跟動詞原形，用來表示對別人的一種建議、勸告或愿望。
【常用搭配】
had better do sth. 意為“最好做某事”；had better not do sth. 意為“最好不要做某事”其中had 是助動詞。
You’d better be careful. 你最好小心些。
We’d better not go home too late. 我們最好不要回家太晚了。
