1. I’m making a list of things for my trip.
我正在列旅行所需東西的清單。
(1) list n. 名單, 清單。是可數名詞,常用短語：a list of。
e.g. Does the club have a list of its all members?
俱樂部里有全體成員的名單嗎?
(2) make a list 列清單；make a list of … 列……的清單。
e.g. I usually make a list of things before going shopping.
我通常去購物前列個清單。
2. It sounds crazy.
聽起來很荒唐。
crazy adj. 發瘋的；荒唐的，形容人很瘋狂或精神失常，引申指“荒唐的”。
e.g. The children like to do crazy things together.
這些孩子們喜歡在一起做瘋狂的事情。
That’s a crazy idea.
那是一個荒唐的主意。
3. I’m leaving at the end of July.
我打算在7月底去。
at the end of … “在……的盡頭，在……的末 端”，指時間或空間。
e.g. The hospital is at the end of the street.

We’ll have the party at the end of this month.

4. Shorts are good, or you can wear light trousers.
短褲就可以，或者你可以穿薄褲。
shorts“短褲”，用復數；trousers “褲子”，用復數。表示“一副、一條”時，用a pair of。
【注意】謂語動詞的單復數形式由pair 的形式決定。“a pair of+復數名詞”作主語時，謂語動詞用單數，而”數詞+pairs of +復數名詞”作主語時，謂語動詞用復數形式。

并列復合句
1. 并列復合句的 定義：由并列連詞and, but, or等把兩個或兩個以上簡單句連在一起而構成的句子。例如：
Jane has kept the book for three days and she must return it tomorrow.
簡借這本書已經三天了，明天她必須歸還。
The boy fell off the bike, but he didn’t hurt.
那個男孩從自行車上掉下來了，但是沒摔傷。
2. 并列復合句的構成：
并列復合句的基本結構是：簡單句+并列連詞+簡單句。例如：
I help him and he helps me.
我幫助他，他也幫助我。
You must put on your coat, or you’ll have a bad cold in such a cold day.
你必須穿上外套，否則在這么冷的天你會重感冒的。
