1. it 的用法：
（1）it作代詞
it不僅可以指代具體的物品，而且還可以指代時間、距離、路程、天氣等。
例：It is half past five now.現在五點半了。
It is sunny and hot in my hometown in summer. 在我的家鄉夏季晴朗、炎熱。
（2）it作形式主語
當句子的主語過長時，為避免頭重腳輕通常將it置于句首作形式主語，而將真正的主語(通常是不定式短語、動名詞或主語從句)放在句子的后面。

（3）it作形式賓語
當句子的賓語過長時，常用it作形式賓語，用來代替真正的賓語(通常是不定式短語、動名詞或賓語從句)。例：I found it hard to walk through the forest in five hours. 我發現在五個小時之內穿越森林是件很困難的事。

2. 動詞不定式作主語的用法
動詞不定式的基本形式為“to + 動詞原形”，其否定形式是“not + 動詞原形”。它能起名詞的作用，在句子中充當主語、表語、賓語和賓語補足語。動詞不定式在作主語時，常用it作形式主語，而往往將動詞不定式放在謂語或表語之后。
