e.g. Is the driver related to the accident?

3. Even the bottom of the river was full of rubbish.
Yes, but people are throwing litter into the river.
litter和rubbish都可指“垃圾”，用作不可數名詞。
litter指“（室內或公共場所）亂扔的廢物（紙屑、不要的包裝紙、廢瓶等）”還可回收。
rubbish指“沒用的東西（被扔或將要丟棄的無用的東西）”不可回收。

e.g. A good diet plays a large part in helping people live longer.
