Language points
現在進行時
現在進行時表示現在或現階段正在進行或發生的動作。
① 肯定句: 主語 + am/is/are +v-ing
② 否定句: 主語 + am/is/are + not +v-ing
③ 疑問句: Am/Is/Are + 主語 +v-ing
現在進行時的用法
1.表示說話時正在進行的，目前正在發生的動作。
常帶有表示目前時刻的時間狀語如：now, at the (very) moment, for the time being, at present, 及Look! Listen! ...
① Look! The big bird is flying away.
看，那只大鳥正在飛走。
② He is watching a movie now.
他現在正在看電影。
2.表示目前一段時間內正在進行，但說話時可能沒有進行的動作。
Right now I am studying Chinese by distance learning.
我現在正通過遠程教育學習漢語。
3.與always, constantly, forever, all the time等副詞連用，表示動作反復或習慣。此時句子常含有說話者的強烈情感在內。表達較強的“責備”或“表揚”之意。
① You are always changing your mind.
你總是主意不定。(太煩人了。)
② He is always helping others.
他總是幫助別人。(他真是個好人。)
4.對于come, go, leave, arrive, start等表示位置移動的動詞?？捎眠M行時態表將來。
① He is leaving on Wednesday.
他將于周三離開。
② Mary isn’t here at the moment. She is coming later.
瑪麗現在不在這兒，她一會兒來。
used to do & be used to doing
used to do sth. 表示過去常常做某事，而現在往往不做了，后接動詞原形
be used to doing sth. 表示習慣于做某事
I used to get up at six o’clock.
我以前六點鐘起床。
Joe is used to drinking a cup of coffee every morning.
喬習慣每天早晨喝一杯咖啡。
Translation.
1.她過去常常周末和朋友閑逛。
She used to hang out with friends on weekends.
2.他習慣于每天晚上睡得很晚。
He is used to staying up every night.
被動語態：Passive voice
定義：表示主語是動作的承受者，即行為動作的對象的一種語態。
結構：be + 過去分詞
A new school was built last year.
Our classroom is cleaned every day.
①一般現在時的被動語態：am/is/are + v-ed
The first section of New College English is designed for speaking practice and is based on pictures and topics.
②一般過去時的被動語態：was/were+ v-ed
These computers were made in our own country last year.
③一般將來時的被動語態：will/shall+be+v-ed
Shall we be asked to attend the opening ceremony?
現在完成時: Present Perfect
定義：表示動作已經完成, 但對現在造成影響；或者表示從過去某一時間開始一直延續到現在并還可能持續下去的動作。
標志詞：already, yet, ever, never, since, for…
I haven’t finished my homework yet.
現在完成時 — 構成
肯定句：主語 + have / has + v-ed + 其他
否定句：主語 + haven’t / hasn’t + v-ed + 其他
一般疑問句： Have / Has + 主語 + v-ed+ …?
肯定答語：Yes, 主格代詞 + have / has.
否定答語：No, 主格代詞 + haven’t / hasn’t.
情態動詞
情態動詞本身有一定的詞義， 表示說話人的情緒、態度或語氣， 但不能單獨作謂語， 只能與其他動詞構成謂語。常見的有: can (could), may(might), must, need, shall (should), will (would)等。
情態動詞無人稱和數的變化，后接動詞原形。否定式是在情態動詞后面加not。個別情態動詞有過去式形式，可用來表達更加客氣、委婉的語氣。
Ken can climb up the trees like a koala.
Tracy could ride a bicycle when she was five years old.
You mustn’t play with fire. It is dangerous.
