Simple Sentences簡單句
英語中，一個句子如果只有一個主語和一個謂語，我們稱之為簡單句。即使有兩個或兩個以上主語或兩個或兩個以上謂語，只要是并列主語或并列謂語，也仍然是簡單句。常見的簡單句的基本句型有：
1. 主語+系動詞+表語（+狀語)
在此句型中，謂語動詞不能表達一個完整的意思，必須加上一個表明主語性質或狀態的表語，才能表達完整的意思。
常見的系動詞：
My book is on the desk.
be動詞類：am, is , are , was, were
Children grow wiser as they grow.
表示變化類：become, get, turn, grow, go
His voice sounded strange on the phone.
感官動詞類：look, sound, smell, taste, feel
He kept all the money in the bank.
表示延續性的動詞：remain, stay, keep
2. 主語+謂語（不及物動詞）（+狀語)
在此句型中，謂語由不及物動詞充當，后面不能直接跟賓語，但有時可跟狀語，說明動作發生的時間、地點、原因、結果、程度、目的等。
3. 主語+謂語（及物動詞）+賓語（+狀語）
在此句型中，謂語是及物動詞，其后必須跟賓語。句子的賓語可由名詞、代詞、不定式、動詞-ing形式、從句等來充當。
You must listen to me.
He arrived in London yesterday.
Lily is waiting for him at the school gate.
4. 主語+謂語（及物動詞）+間接賓語+直接賓語（+狀語）
有些及物動詞后需要跟兩個賓語，指人的叫間接賓語，指物的叫直接賓語。
Will you pass me the book on the desk?
=Will you pass the book to me on the desk?
My parents bought me a nice birthday present.
=My parents bought a nice birthday present for me.

接雙賓語的動詞：
①跟介詞to的動詞：bring, tell, give, pass, sell, send, show, teach, pay, promise, return, offer等。
Could you give me the letter?=Could you give the letter to me?
②跟介詞for的動詞：buy, make, find, save, choose, order,build等。
He bought me a gift. =He bought a gift for me.
5. 主語+謂語（及物動詞）+賓語+賓語
補足語（+狀語）
在此句型中，“賓語+賓語補足語”稱為復合賓語。賓語補足語通常由形容詞、名詞、不定式、動詞-ing形式等充當。

find, think, advise, allow, call, ask, consider, make,
leave, keep, warn, tell, leave, name, see, notice, hear, watch, observe等。
They usually call the baby Dick.
I heard someone playing the guitar next door.
She will make him happy.
6. There+be+主語（+狀語）
There is a computer and some books on the desk.
There are some books and a computer on the desk.
