get on/along with sb.表示“和某人和睦相處”。
get on/along well with sb.表示“和某人相處得好”,
反義:get on badly with sb.表示“和某人相處得不融洽”。
although, so that及until引導的狀語從句
although引導讓步狀語從句
連詞although意為“雖然;盡管”,引導讓步狀語從句,可以放在主句前面,也可以放在主句后面。
盡管她不對,但這也不是什么大不了的事。
Although she’s wrong, it’s not a big deal.
so that引導目的狀語從句和結果狀語從句
(1)so that意為“以便”,引導目的狀語從句,一般放在主句后,且不用逗號隔開。目的狀語從句表示動機(即一種可能性),而非事實。因此,從句中常帶有can, will, could, would, should等情態動詞。
(2)so that意為“以至于;結果”,引導結果狀語從句,陳述的是客觀事實,常常不帶情態動詞。
until引導時間狀語從句
連詞until意為“直到……為止;到……時”,引導時間狀語從句,常放在主句之后,也可以放在主句之前。
主句為一般將來時,從句要用一般現在時表示將來。
until用于肯定句中,意為“直到……為止”,主句謂語動詞須用延續性動詞;用于否定句中,意為“直到……才”,主句謂語動詞通常用非延續性動詞,也可用延續性動詞。
